Rettiche gegen Schnecken?

Verstehe ich das richtig? Die Nacktschnecken sterben ab, einige Stunden nachdem sie an den Daikon-Rettichen gefressen haben?
Und die absterbenden Rettiche töten im Winter durch Schwefelwasserstofffreisetzung in direkter Nähe befindliche Schneckeneier ab?
Also Schneckenbekämpfung durch Beimischung von Rettichen in die Zwischenfrüchte?
